A warm welcome to family stork

In the nature reserve near Wipfeld you have the chance to see storks, because they accepted the platform built by engaged people, there is even a nest basket installed to make kid -raising easier for the storks. In Germany there are 7000 stork couples registered, 700 in Bavaria and one at the Mainschleife. The platform is 13 meters high so the storks are safe. Appreciating all that comfort the whole stork family returns every year- hopefully when the kids get older they remember their birthplace and return as well some day.
