From 7 p.m.: A 4-course Franconian wine menu featuring three traditional Franconian dishes (vegetarian options also available). The menu will be accompanied by a professionally guided wine tasting of ROSE wines by Mr. Heßmann, the chef and winemaker.

Delicious gourmet breakfast until 10 a.m.

 

From 12:00 p.m. you can enjoy a comfortable tour through the Mainschleife wine region on the Schoppenexpress with the Volkach tour guide Christa.

At around 2:00 p.m., we'll finish the tour at the "cream slices" of the ROSE vineyards, below the pilgrimage church "Maria im Weingarten." (Weather permitting, we'll also stop at the Schoppenhäusle (small pot of potatoes) about 100 meters from the vineyard.) Homemade potato soup from the kettle and a beverage of your choice await you there (duration approximately 1 hour; drinks and blankets will provide comforting warmth). Afterwards, a digestive walk back to the hotel, approximately 1.8 km.

At 7 p.m., an exclusive 4-course herbal menu featuring well-known and lesser-known local wild herbs awaits, along with explanations of the uses and effects of wild herbs from a herbalist. (Vegetarian options are also available.)

New Year's Eve Delicious late riser breakfast until 11 a.m.

 

At 2 p.m., to get you in the mood for the New Year, there will be “Tea Time” (including coffee specialties) with homemade pastries and an atmospheric reading with the director of the Volkach library.

 

From 7 p.m. (doors open at 6 p.m.): Festive New Year's Eve buffet with regional and international specialties of fine cuisine. To begin, enjoy a relaxed starter, served by the wait staff. Afterwards, you can enjoy the warm gala buffet (vegetarian/vegan options available).

 

From 9:30 p.m., feast to your heart's content at the dessert buffet. Finally, a delicious snack buffet awaits you late into the evening. The meaning of "schnabulieren" is "to consume, to eat with pleasure." Example: to nibble with relish. The evening will be accompanied by entertaining live music with Hugo and "Easy Chair" and plenty of songs from the 60s and 70s. Welcome the new year 2024 with a sparkling glass of house sparkling wine before continuing the celebrations in a relaxed atmosphere until 2 a.m.
